Veteran security industry leader Robert Sanborn rose to the role of executive vice president and chief technology and innovation officer at a multi-domain defense contractor System High Corporation.
As CTIO, Sanborn will leverage expertise gained over a career spanning nearly four decades in the public and private sectors to find, develop and deliver new tools and technologies for use in security and protection environmentsthe Chantilly, Va.-based company said Tuesday.

Sanborn’s professional life has included time spent as a United States Designated Security Authority representing the Department of Defense. Accomplishments in this role include overseeing global security reviews for the National Interagency Committee on Disclosure Policy, writing, dissecting, and commenting on U.S. international security law, and appearing on behalf of states. before the Multinational Task Force on Industrial Security.
The newly promoted leader’s core capabilities are grounded in cybersecurity, international security, industrial security, program protection, counterintelligence, and protective services operations.
Prior to his promotion, Sanborn was Howe’s strategic advisor. He served at System High for the past two years.
